Ron Hilbert's 1971 Chevy C-10 Pickup Truck Project

July 14; The Truck Bed is Painted

The truck bed is mounted and the saddle tank is installed. The rear gas tank needs to be hooked up to the filler neck and some lose ends have to be taken care of. The inside of the bed will receive a bedliner coat on the bottom. The insides of the bed are painted blue.

I don't think the underside of the bed ever had paint on it. Now there is a heavy undercoating for rust protection.

Just wipe off the body shop dust and everythig will look new.

The windshield had a defective seal so a new one had to be ordered.

The Cheyenne 10 front fender emblem is installed in a tight spot. The list of what to do is on the window to finish the project.
